Description

Harbinger Sea Salt (TQZ 2302R) is a glue-down luxury vinyl plank from the Harbinger The Quiet Zone collection with a built-in 1.5mm IXPE acoustic underlay (IIC 72 / STC 70), available at PI Floor & Blinds in Victoria, BC. It has a 0.55mm wear layer and Harbinger 4S coating for scratch, scuff and stain resistance, with realistic embossed textures. Suitable for all interior floor surfaces above, on or below grade.

Installation & care

Before installation
  • Let the flooring acclimate in the room for the time the manufacturer recommends (typically 48 hours) before you start.
  • The subfloor must be clean, dry and flat. Moisture or uneven spots show through and can void a warranty.
  • Order about 10% extra for cuts and waste, and keep a few spare planks for future repairs.
Installation tips
  • Leave an expansion gap along the walls as the manufacturer specifies, and cover it with baseboard or trim.
  • Mix planks from several boxes as you lay them for a natural look.
  • Always follow the installation instructions and warranty terms for this specific product.
Care and maintenance
  • Sweep or vacuum regularly and clean with a product made for your floor type. Avoid excess water and steam mops on wood.
  • Wipe up spills quickly and use felt pads under furniture legs.
  • Use door mats at entrances to keep grit from scratching the surface.
