Made in Canada, Goodfellow Original Engineered Hardwood combines the natural beauty and finish of hardwood with the stability of engineered construction. Glued-down, nailed-down or floating installation on any level, including concrete slab and radiant sub-floor heating. Superior scratch resistance, anti-yellowing UV protection and non-toxic antimicrobial treatment. 1/2″ and 3/4″ engineered flooring in 5″ and 6 1/2″ widths with 4 mm wear layer, micro-beveled on 4 sides. Urban series: satin, 30° gloss; Nature series: matte, 10° gloss (red oak wire brushed). Maintain 40-55% relative humidity. Lifetime structural, 35-year residential and 5-year light commercial warranty.

Installation & care

Before installation
  • Let the flooring acclimate in the room for the time the manufacturer recommends (typically 48 hours) before you start.
  • The subfloor must be clean, dry and flat. Moisture or uneven spots show through and can void a warranty.
  • Order about 10% extra for cuts and waste, and keep a few spare planks for future repairs.
Installation tips
  • Leave an expansion gap along the walls as the manufacturer specifies, and cover it with baseboard or trim.
  • Mix planks from several boxes as you lay them for a natural look.
  • Always follow the installation instructions and warranty terms for this specific product.
Care and maintenance
  • Sweep or vacuum regularly and clean with a product made for your floor type. Avoid excess water and steam mops on wood.
  • Wipe up spills quickly and use felt pads under furniture legs.
  • Use door mats at entrances to keep grit from scratching the surface.
