Harbinger Vik (TQZ 2403T) is a glue-down luxury vinyl tile from the Harbinger The Quiet Zone collection with a built-in 1.5mm IXPE acoustic underlay (IIC 72 / STC 70), available at PI Floor & Blinds in Victoria, BC. Installation & care

Before installation

Let the flooring acclimate in the room for the time the manufacturer recommends (typically 48 hours) before you start.
The subfloor must be clean, dry and flat. Moisture or uneven spots show through and can void a warranty.
Order about 10% extra for cuts and waste, and keep a few spare planks for future repairs.

Installation tips

Leave an expansion gap along the walls as the manufacturer specifies, and cover it with baseboard or trim.
Mix planks from several boxes as you lay them for a natural look.
