our installation guide was like this;
- Acclimation: The hardwood flooring material needs to acclimate to the environment. our installers left the hardwood planks in the room where they would install for a few days to allow them to adjust to the temperature and humidity.
- Subfloor preparation, The subfloor must have been clean, dry, level, and structurally sound before they could install the floor. The installers will remove any existing flooring materials, repair any subfloor damage, and ensure that the surface is level.
- Underlayment installation: our installers installed the underlayment first on the subfloor to provide a moisture barrier or sound insulation.
- Layout: The installers will determine the layout of the hardwood planks to ensure that the floor has a consistent look and feel. They will measure the room and determine the best starting point for the installation.
